Innovative Building Information Modelling and Management (iBIM²) internet group is a group of Sri Lankan individuals who are keen on bringing in BIM and related concepts and technologies for the benefit of Sri Lankan building (construction) industry. BIM is not yet popular in Sri Lanka, and BIM maturity of Sri Lanka is at infant stage. However, it is obvious that the industry should be capable of BIM based project delivery as the day a client demand for BIM is not very far.
The blog authors are primarily Sri Lankan BIM enthusiasts and (future) experts. However, there will be invited authors from other parts of the world who would support iBIM² by sharing their knowledge and expertise.
The iBIM² Forum is open for public, and anybody who can verify their identity can join to post in it.
